Tiered OLED Tower
This 17-tier OLED chandelier is the focal point of this spiral staircase in the lobby of a high-rise office, seamlessly integrated into the floor and ceiling. Every square is an OLED panel that is individually controlled. In total, there are 340 panels powered by 43 power supplies. Custom DMX repeaters were installed in the tiers to reduce wiring. The power supplies and DMX controller were installed remotely in specially made housings for ease of installation and thermal management purposes. All wiring between locations was coordinated with the contractor to streamline installation.

Starburst
This decorative chandelier was an early use of LED’s in decorative lighting. The bubble rod arms are end-lit by 24W of LED on a custom board with a purpose-built driver. At the time, standardized LED modules were rare and driver options were very limited, so all needed electronics were custom built. The rods poised unique challenges to get the right clarity and bubble density.
Icicles
This series of 2×2 tiles had custom light engines for each bubble rod icicle. A bus power supply was designed to minimize installation requirements and allow flexibility of icicle count and positioning.
