With the advent of LED technology, electronic design has become a much more frequent requirement for light fixture design. We are very familiar with this aspect and have experience going back to the early days of LEDs in lighting.
In the simpler cases, it may just be a question of selecting an LED module and driver that fit the project requirements. However, with the large number of options available and the need to consider trade-offs, this can be less simple than it seems at first. We know many of the available options, work with manufacturers, and stay on top of the industry technology to help make the right decisions quickly.
In more complex cases, custom LED modules or drivers may need to be designed to fit the needs of a project. Or it may be that a special interface is needed to link existing parts internally or to external systems. In those cases, we turn to our electronics design experience and Altium Designer tools for PCB design to create and test fully custom solutions.
