Torrey M. Bievenour, President
Torrey has been working in the lighting industry for 20 years, specializing in entertainment, architectural, and custom commercial work, spending time on design, manufacturing, and management. Frequently on the cutting edge of technology, he has gathered knowledge and experience in electronic, mechanical, optical, thermal, and standards-based design. He spent a lot of time working with sales teams and customers to help determine the best approach and technologies to realize their visions.
In addition to product design, Torrey took the lead in the selection and integration of CNC and automation equipment to enhance capabilities and speed-to-market in a company focused on US manufacturing and short lead-time projects. As an executive, he honed his business leadership through team leadership, directing ERP implementation, developing workflow processes, and financial analysis.
Torrey received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. In his free time, he enjoys the scuba diving, woodworking, and the great outdoors.
